Assessment at St Joseph's.
Here at St Joseph's, we believe that it is our job to help each child strive to reach their potential. Regular assessment and monitoring enables us to be pro-active in helping each child to achieve the best that they can.
We are very lucky here at our school to have such highly qualified and experienced teaching and support staff to deliver targeted interventions. We also work with other local schools to ensure that our moderation processes are robust and in line with other schools.
Members of the SLT are specialists in SEND ensuring equality and continuity throughout the school for ALL children. We also have an SLE (Specialist Leader in Education) in Early Reading, Writing and Phonics - ensuring that all children are exposed to the best start on their educational journey.
